Responsibilities include financial statement preparation, month end close, journal entries, developing budgets, implementing internal control structures and keeping abreast of GAAP accounting pronouncements and internal reporting and internal control assessment. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree with major in accounting. CPA certificate preferred. 2. Five or more years experience in accounting, 3. Thorough knowledge of applicable accounting and financial statement preparation methods and requirements (FASB, GAAP). 4. Knowledge of Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley as it relates to internal control processes and requirements. 5. Excellent human relations skills in dealing with associates, company personnel, internal and external auditors, attorneys and consultants. 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate financial data. 7. Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 - $130,000
