HOT HOT!!! STAFF ACCOUNTANT & SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT NEEDED IN PHILA, PA!!!!

This client is a real estate private equity firm that focuses on redevelopments through joint ventures with local operating entities. This company has been?excelling in business for nearly?10 years now and works on investing in all types of properties across the US. ?They are seeking a Staff Accountant and a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team in their Center City, Philadelphia office.? The details of the position are as follows:

Staff Accountant:

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, records, and journal entries.
Enters transactions in accounting records.
Maintains internal reports and schedules.
Performs monthly bank reconciliations.
Reconciles GL on a monthly basis.
Tracks capital calls and distributions to investors.
Works with independent auditors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting with 0 ? 3 years of experience.

Excellent knowledge of Excel.

Problem solving and analytical skills required.

Knowledge of computer general ledger packages desired.

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the accounting field.

Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and company contacts.

SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, records, and journal entries.
Enters transactions in accounting records.
Maintains internal reports and schedules.
Performs monthly bank reconciliations.

Works independently and contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed including special projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting with 3-6 years of experience (Public Accounting experienced preferred)

Excellent knowledge of Excel.

Problem solving and analytical skills required.

Knowledge of computer general ledger packages desired.

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the accounting field.

Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and company contacts
