Public Company Controller

Salary: $80,000-$95,000

Public company headquartered in Richmond is in search of a Controller who will oversee accounting operations for numerous locations throughout the US. This is a hands-on position that will allow you to be involved in the detailed accounting work on a consolidated basis. It will also allow you to make strategic decisions based on high level analysis and "big picture" view.

Responsibilities:
- Internal reporting for each location on an individual and consolidated basis
- External financial reporting to the SEC
- Performance analysis
- Budget planning and analysis
- Supervision of staff

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting
- CPA, preferred
- 6+ years of experience in accounting
- Financial reporting experience
- Big 4 Public Accounting, a plus
- SEC reporting, preferred
- Sarbanes experience, preferred
