Job Description:

Billing and collection of Home Care accounts receivable for the rental and sale of home care products.



Essential Skills:

Responsible for the billing and collection of accounts receivable balances for the Home Care division. Analyze outstanding accounts for adjustment and follow up. Resolve customer inquiries and billing problems. Resubmit claims for reprocessing or review. Manage assigned payers by attaining a knowledge of the various billing requirements based on contract or federal/state regulations. Improve cash flow and reduce bad debt by recommending system changes.




Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently. Phone experience essential. Must work with internal and external customers to support the Home Care stores. Knowledge of DME billing practices helpful. Prior medicare/medicaid billing or collections desirable.
Average PC skills required (entering into Access and Excel with speed and accuracy). Basic accounting skills and aptitude for collections required.
