Demonstrated Abilities:
? Provide engagement or task management and select appropriate methodologies
? Play substantive/lead role in client relationship and communication
? Play
substantive/lead role in attaining quality internal and external communication deliverables including technical content of reports, proposals, etc.
? Demonstrate high level of understanding of clients' business
? Demonstrate strong knowledge industry or functional specialty
? Play substantive/lead role and engagement planning, economics, and billing
? Deliver services that meet D&T engagement leader specifications
? Participate in "add-on" sales to client
? Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services
? Membership and visibility in professional & civic organizations
? Participate in proposal development efforts? Evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of others
? Assist in retention of professionals
? Participate in training efforts
? Play substantive role in enhancing relationships with internal Deloitte Resources

Qualifications:
? BA/BS in related field
? MA/MBA desired
? 4-8+ years related experience-US GAAP Audit
experience required
? CPA or equivalent certification required

Managers oversee multiple engagements and are responsible for resolving all legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during the audit engagement. Managers have responsibility for the supervision and management of services to our clients, which include preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting. They must develop and motivate all engagement staff and provide them with counseling and career guidance. Managers have control over, and exercise wide latitude and discretionary decision-making in establishing the most advantageous course of action for the successful management of each audit engagement. They draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and know the range of firm services. Managers have proven deep technical expertise and have developed their reputation in a given industry/service line. They
provide leadership in the timely delivery of quality services that exceed the expectations of our clients. Ideal Candidates have 5-7 years of public accounting experience and a CPA is required. Advanced degree preferred.
