INTERNATIONAL SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller.

* Coordinating the accounting requirements for the international operations.
* Assist with the deevelopment of accounting policies and controls relative to international operations.
* Administer and monitor transfer pricing policies.
* Perform translations of foreign balances.
* Balance and maintain inter company detail for foreign locations.
* Perform month-end financial review, including variance analysis, of international results.
* Prepare necessary month-end entries in the GL, including elimination entries.
* Coordinate monthly expense transfers between subsidiaries and corporate.
* Reconcile the local reporting requirements and financial reporting needs.
* Provide direct supervision to exempt employees in the process of executing these responsibilities.

* Participate in monthly project review meetings providing financial status of projects to international units and area managers.
*  Participate in the development of the annual operating budget for all international business units.



We are looking for a professional with excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated understanding of GAAP, especially FAS 52/133, and experience working in an international environment and skilled in the use of MS Office, Oracle reporting tools and Great Plains software. Ability to work and contribute in a cross-functional work environment a plus.

 

Education and Experience:


? Bachelors degree in Accounting
? CPA preferred but not required
? 3 to 5 years of overall relevant accounting experience
? Minimum of 2 years experience with a Public Accounting firm
? Experience managing an accounting function.
? International accounting experience A MUST
? Accounting experience in a public company
? Working with ERP systems, preferably Great Plains
