IT Audit Manager

Major Responsibilities:
1. Develop risk assessment and audit strategies for information systems and operations to meet requirements of senior management and the Audit/Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
2. Assist the Vice President, Internal Audit in development of the annual internal audit plan to ensure adequate audit coverage is achieved while balancing costs against benefits to be derived.
3. Properly plan and perform internal audits of information systems operations and application and technology infrastructure development projects to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures and sound risk management practices.
4. Assist management in developing action plans to improve systems operations, security and operating efficiencies.
5. Advise management in the design and development of internal controls including security, business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
6. Plan, review and monitor performance of out-sourced audit assignments to ensure objectives are achieved including audit reporting, and action plan implementation and follow-up.
7. Coordinate fiscal year-end information systems audit process with external auditors.
8. Develop and monitor, under the direction of the Vice President, Internal Audit, internal audit information systems platforms and applications including ACL utilization.
9. Keep abreast of impending changes in information systems auditing and accounting professional standards and recommend modifications to audit strategy as necessary.

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
1. Development and monitoring of an effective information systems audit plan and related budgets.
2. Effective performance and/or supervision of multiple concurrent engagements.
3. Detailed understanding of information technology control systems and processes.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in accounting or information systems.

- 8?10 years auditing or equivalent experience, which includes at least 5 years supervisory experience.
- CISA, CPA or CIA is required
