Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, provide financial and operational analysis to IT management. Provide accounting support and assistance and ensure accounting policies, internal controls and procedures are being followed. Perform all duties assigned by the Chief information Officer. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are followed at all times. Ensure that no company, employee or customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules from the Corporate Office and Chief Information Officer. Maintain a good flow of communication with Department employees and within the Corporation.

2. Oversee the IT capital expense process. Analyze actual to budget differences with IT leadership and assist in the annual budget process for all IT departments.

3. Perform reconciliations of fixed assets and intangible assets.

4. Prepare and assist in the preparation of the IT budget annually. Work with each department, as needed, to help them understand their budget. Answer questions on a monthly basis regarding departmental variances to department heads.

5. Provide detailed financial information and/or modeling. Provide various ?what if? scenarios and ad-hoc reports as required.

6. Present periodic information to management, executives and board of directors concerning spending and key initiatives.

7. Present and implement recommendations concerning spending, project alternatives and the company-wide book of projects.

8. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of a project management scorecard system (RPM).

9. Assist in building business case for investments and perform project tracking of investments and business returns.

10. Advise Chief Information Officer and work to align investment strategies and company financial capital strategies.

11. Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.

12. Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise Facilities of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately.

13. Make sure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately.


Educational Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline required and CPA preferred. Five (5) years of experience as a Controller or similar work experience in public accounting preferred.
