PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Operational/Financial/IS controls review/testing.
- Communicate with management and control owners.
- Report control deficiencies to management for corrective action.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Writing/ updating process narratives/flowcharts for operational/information systems/financial areas.
- Documenting and reporting test results to management.
- Following up with management for remediation steps performed.
- Updating control listings and testing status reports as warranted.
- Performing internal control reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree in a business related field.
- 3+ years Internal/External Audit experience is required.
- CIA and/or C.I.S.A. designation a plus.
- Experience in the mortgage industry a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance work.
- Development/execution of SOX adequacy and effectiveness testing steps.
- Good analytics aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in MS Visio a plus.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a high-paced team environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be multi-task oriented, with strong attention to detail.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel overnight is required
