Immediate Opportunity for Senior GL Accountant

We have an immediate opportunity for a Sr. GL Accountant.

 



Responibilities:

 

Preparation of journal entries and balance sheet accounts reconciliation



Assist with the fixed asset accounting process Prepare month end allocation processes.



Prepare and book accruals, prepaids and adjustments as required.



Assist in monthly/ quarterly accounting month-end close process. Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.



Participate in special projects as needed.

We are seeking a Sr. GL Accountant responsible for providing accounting support to the Finance and various other departments

 

 





Required:

Must have a solid understanding of cash reconciliation



Must possess a thorough understanding of finance and accounting systems(Prefer Oracle Financials) 



Minimum of BA or BS preferably in accounting or finance or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and communication skills
