Intercompany Staff Accountant
Staff Accountant
News Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Intercompany Staff Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with one of the pre-eminent media content and distribution companies in the world. News Corporation has holdings around the globe in several mediums including television, newspapers, magazines and inserts, filmed entertainment and book publishing.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the corporate finance department, the Intercompany Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for the following:
? Quarterly Reconciliation of Worldwide Intercompany Accounts
? Supplying detail and explanations on all cross charges to divisions
? Journal entry usage, booking all monthly allocations and overheads
? Recording and allocating costs to various divisions
? Preparation of monthly interest calculations on all inter-company balances
? Assisting Senior Accountants and above on various projects, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements
Requirements:
? BS/BA in Accounting
? Minimum 1 year accounting experience preferable
? Knowledge of Microsoft packages (Advance Excel Skills a plus)
? Team player, self motivate individual. Willing to use ones own initiative on tasks
