Interim Treasury Manager

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY   Our South Bay based client seeks an Interim Treasury Manager, a unit within the Controller?s Division, who will be responsible for cash, debt, and investment management while managing a staff of 5. Within cash management, consultant will be responsible for Policy & Procedures, Treasury Cash Account Reconciliation, Cash Balance Monitoring, Monthly Reimbursement Process, and Cash Flow Projections.  Within debt, consultant will handle Policy and Procedures, Bond Issuance and Accounting, Debt Service Management and Accounting, Fiscal Analysis, and Maintenance of Tax Exempt Status. For investments, duties will include Policy and Procedures, Endowment Management and Accounting, Investment Management and Accounting, Investment of Excess Cash, and Reporting.  Will need the ability to work closely with the departments outside of treasury in order to get more useful and timely information into the hands of the leaders and decision makers.  Project is available immediately and duration is at least three months.  Pay will be commensurate with treasury and industry experience. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

?  BS/BA in accounting or finance related degree at a four-year U.S. accredited university.

?  At least 8 years in combined public accounting and private industry experience.

?  Treasury and cash management with back and middle office treasury experience for a publicly held entity.

?  Prior experience in managing a staff of at least 5 individuals.

?  Ability to work with senior management to define goals and understand business needs.

Preferred: 

?  CPA, MBA, or other related certifications are recommended.

?  Strong understanding of FAS 133, Accounting for Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities, would be preferred. About Hudson Financial Solutions
