Internal Audit Senior

  Exelon is currently looking for Internal Audit Senior and Staff to work in our Chicago Headquarters.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for the following:

Performs and/or leads audits to determine propriety and efficiency of control structure and operating processes, including recommendations for improvement in processes and controls. Performs special reviews and assignments at the request of management.


 

Plan the development of audit scope, objectives and audit program; determine audit procedures to be used.



Assess operating processes and develop conclusions about their effectiveness.



Identify key control points of systems and develop/execute testing plans to determine control effectiveness.



Develop risk assessments for critical business processes and prepare appropriate audit plans.



Identify, communicate and resolve any issues with management that arise as a result of the audit.



Prepare oral or written presentations to management discussing areas of audit concern, recommending corrective action, and suggesting improvements in operations and cost reductions.



Prepare formal written reports, as requested, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency with which activities are conducted.



Conduct post-audit follow up to appraise the adequacy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions in process and/or system.Supervise audit staff on projects and provide performance feedback


 

Requirements for this position are:


? Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and Accounting

? Professional accreditation, e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA,

? Advanced degree preferred

? Five to eight years internal audit experience

? Demonstrated excellence and positive contribution in performing audit duties

? Utility industry experience a plus

? Supervisory experience a plus
