Internal Audit - Senior Associate

The ideal candidate will have held an internal audit position within the banking or credit union financial services industries and will possess the following skills/qualifications:

? Excellent people skills with strong ability for self-motivation.
? B.S. degree in Accounting or Business is required; CIA, CBA, CFE, CISA, CFSA certification is desirable.
? Expertise in the following areas highly preferred: Real Estate Lending, Commercial Lending, Business Accounts, Credit Scoring, Risk-based Lending, Indirect Lending, Operational Reviews and Electronic Services.
? General understanding of business dynamics and operations.
? Ability to think strategically and participate in the organization and management of a multi-disciplinary team.
? 3-5 years of progressive responsibility in an internal audit environment within the financial services industry.
? Ability to travel overnight 20% and within greater metro area 80%.

The goal of the Internal Audit Consulting engagement is to HELP ensure effective and efficient controls are designed and functioning to mitigate financial, compliance, and operational risks for clients. Consultants will manage projects focused on compliance, operational, and financial reviews and will prepare and issue audit reports to clients.
