The Internal Audit Professional is responsible for performing services for client engagements on-site as assigned in the respective local office Solution Area. This position is responsible for researching and consulting on various internal auditing and controls and forensics or construction audit services in a wide range of industries. This position will conduct the following tasks: construction audit and advisory, contract compliance, COSO-based enterprise financial risk assessments, financial reporting audits, fraud and forensic investigations, information technology audits, internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, operational audits, regulatory compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This position will conduct special studies for clients to discover mechanics of detected fraud and develop controls for fraud prevention and review and evaluate accounting systems to determine the adequacy of controls in practice. 25% travel required.

Bachelor?s degree, preferable in accounting/finance or a related field; Minimum 7 years experience in the general area of internal audit and controls; Experience in internal controls, fraud risk management, fraud handling or litigation support is preferred; Strong communication and customer service skills; and Certification CIA, CPA, CA CISA, CFA or equivalent preferred and/or advanced degree, MBA or equivalent, preferred. This position is responsible for remaining professional at all times including confidentiality, accountability, and performance of quality work within deadlines; follow engagement methodologies; complete projects as assigned and maintain a certain level of utilization; and target to record 45 client-billable hours each week
