Internal Auditor-Bilingual

Summary Plans, develops, recommends, and monitors procedures and systems used in financial, process and operational audits throughout the organization. Verifies the accuracy and compliance of DHL's internal records with company policy and procedures. Ensures internal controls are adequate to protect DHL against misuse and fraud. Evaluates the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures, laws, and government regulations. Recommends and makes improvements to policies and procedures.

Tasks & Accountabilities
Examines and evaluates DHL's financial and information systems, management procedures, and internal controls to ensure that records are accurate and controls are adequate to protect against fraud and waste. Reviews company operations to evaluate effectiveness, compliance with corporate policies and procedures, laws and government regulations. Reviews transactions and explores deviations from the standard to recommend corrective actions when necessary. Recommends controls for the organization. Analyzes and documents business processes and provides appraisals of internal control structure of functions or systems. Documents audit procedures and observations made during audit project. Assists in developing effective audit programs and recommends revisions to existing audit programs. Prepares audit reports by summarizing audit findings and recommendations. Presents written and verbal reports of findings and recommendations to management. Provides assistance and documentation to outside auditors in any undertaking that may expedite their work. May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less-experienced auditors.

Skills & Qualifications
Experienced Professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 5-8 years of experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field. Professional certification required in some areas. Bilingual- Spanish is a plus.
