USANA is seeking an Internal Auditor to assist the board of directors and management in accomplishing objectives.  The internal audit staff will assist the Company in maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements and providing other value added services related to cost savings and efficiency for the Company.

 

Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and planning of internal control audits, performance of field audits relative to the audit plan(s), and assisting with the creation of reports to management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of USANA related to audit findings. In addition, the Internal Auditor will prepare recommendations to management for improvement of internal controls and certain areas of efficiency. Follow-up and review management?s proposed resolution and plan(s) of action for internal audit recommendations and documentation of the ultimate execution of management?s resolution(s). The internal audit staff will perform other duties such as IT auditing, operational focused audits, international audits, and special audits as assigned. The Internal Auditor will work in conjunction with the external auditors to assist them in the external financial statement audit, thus providing additional cost savings to USANA Health Sciences.

 

Successful candidates will be working toward a bachelor?s degree in accounting or related field. Candidates will have strong written and oral communication skills and current knowledge of accounting rules and the impact of those rules on the Company. Working knowledge of computer and associated programs including Ren CS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and USANA?s Order Entry System is a plus.  Preference will be given to those with a Master?s Degree in Accounting or related field.
