International Tax Manager

Our client is seeking an International Tax Manager for a location in Arlington, VA. This tax professional will work on all aspects of the international tax compliance function, including data collection, preparation of international tax forms, and tax research. This individual will report to both the International Tax Senior Manager and International Tax Senior and will be extensively involved in bringing the US portion of the international tax compliance function in-house over a two year period. This person will prepare Forms 5471, 1118, 1065, 8621, 8832, 8865 and 8858; prepare foreign tax credit and overall foreign loss calculations; and prepare and maintain earnings and profits and tax basis calculations. This person will collect and analyze data from foreign affiliates; work closely with outside accountants during transition period; and handle miscellaneous tax research and other projects, as necessary.

This candidate must be a good fit with the existing members of the Tax Group. 3-4 years of experience with general federal tax knowledge is required; international tax experience is a plus. Strong accounting and analytical skills are required. CorpTax and CorpInternational experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with Excel, Word, etc.; excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.-Whatever it takes- attitude is required. The salary is $120-130k per annum.
