International Tax Manager - San Antonio

International Tax Manager
1.Five to ten years experience in either public accounting or a large corporate tax department. Minimum two years of international tax experience required.
2.BBA in accounting required. CPA required.
3.Working knowledge of existing US tax laws, local country tax laws, and GAAP provisions, required.
4.Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, or equivalent.
5.Experience with integrated accounting systems, such as Oracle, preferred.
6.Experience with tax return processing software such as Insource, preferred.
7.Ability to research and provide recommendations with respect to various tax and accounting issues.
8.Ability to organize and execute projects and organize and track multiple deadlines.
9.Ability to supervise, train, and develop tax staff and seniors. Supervisory experience highly desired.
10.Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude.
11.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
12.Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.

Job Duties
1.Supervise and coordinate outsource engagement for international compliance including Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, etc.
2.Foreign tax credit planning. Analyze earnings and profits and tax pools.
3.Assist with calculation of the worldwide effective tax rate.
4. Supervise Deferred Tax Asset / Liability calculations, and return to accrual analysis for the quarterly accrual.
5.Supervise tax provision calculations and tax account analysis for statutory financial statements as needed. Will include reconciliation of income tax accounts.
6.Supervise data gathering for local tax return preparation for offshore companies.
7.Tax planning, repatriation planning, and special projects.
8.Transfer pricing analysis and related issues.
9.Assist with federal and foreign tax audits, as needed.
10.Tax research on various topics, as needed.
11.Identify and promote efficiencies in all areas affecting the preparation and filing of returns/reports and calculations.
12.Conforms to, supports and enforces all Company policies and procedures.
