International Tax Manager San Francisco

Job Description -- PwC is searching for an experienced tax professional to join their growing International Tax practice. This is an opportunity to concentrate efforts on a variety of international tax research, consulting and planning issues. This position involves advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Additionally, this position involves providing industry knowledge and technical expertise to clients in one or more industries.

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Tax required. Master in Tax or JD/LLM preferred. Must be a CPA or licensed attorney (or eligible candidate)

Job Requirement Essential

Strong technical background as a result of five to seven years experience advising the U.S. and foreign multinational companies on their international tax strategies. Previous experience in an international tax practice within a professional services firm, industry, government agency and/or law firm. Successful candidate must have tax research and consulting experience with either inbound or outbound international tax issues. Ability to manage, develop and retain a team of tax professionals. Willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills; strong written and oral communication skills a must.
