International Tax Services Tax Manager

Job Description -- The Boston ITS practice is looking for a Manager to join the practice to focus on International Tax Consulting primarily with clients in the Upstate NY and New England market. This position involves advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the U.S. and foreign tax implications of their international operations. Additionally, some compliance work should be anticipated. You will be responsible for coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to obtain an optimal worldwide strategy. You will have an opportunity to network extensively with existing and prospective clients and assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firm.

BA/BS Minimum; MS in Taxation, JD, LL.M in Taxation, MBA. CPA certification/license, Enrolled Agent certification, or Admitted to Practice Law is required.

Job Requirement Essential

Strong technical tax background as a result of five to seven years experience advising the U.S. and foreign multinational companies on their international tax strategies. Previous experience in an international tax practice within a professional services firm, industry, government agency and/or law firm. Successful candidate must have tax research and consulting experience with either inbound or outbound international tax issues. Ability to manage, develop and retain a team of tax professionals. Willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills; strong written ad oral communication skills.
