Investor Accounting Analyst II
Performs a variety of duties, under the general guidance of the Unit Manager, in regards to the reporting, remitting and reconciling of the investors' loan portfolio including special project research, documentation and analysis as directed.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares and processes the reporting cycle cutoff and prepares all monthly reporting and handles all remittance requirements. Ginnie Mae Analysts must be knowledgeable of IRS and Franchise Tax Board reporting requirements and be able to properly report the pertinent data to the respective authority.
- Prepares bank reconciliation?s, researches "Cash To Test" and "Pool To Security" differences and performs applicable research and initiates actions to clear items in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare remittances, gather supporting documentations and prepare reasonableness tests.
- Handles all investor requirements outside of cutoff as needed (i.e. 1099-INT preparation, management report data gathering, 1041/541 reporting). Participates in audits required by the various investors.
- Identifies, develops and presents documentation for MIS enhancements, designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the operating units, to the Investor Accounting/PCR Tracking Committee.
- Provides training and assistance to fellow Unit Analysts as needed.
- Receives assignments and instructions from the Unit's Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager/Manager/AVP as required.
- Participates in special projects and special assignments under the direction of the Unit's Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager/Manager/AVP as required.
- Answer questions presented by external (investors, within department guidelines) and internal (other CHL departments) customers.

Preferred Skills & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College graduate, business or accounting major preferred. 1 year related work experience can substitute for 1 year of college.
- PC proficiency (Excel, DBase, Word for Windows desirable).
- Strong comprehension, listening, presentation, written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of Mortgage Banking and Investor Accounting a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have ability to organize and prioritize assigned work.
- Must be a team player.
2 to 4 years experience in an accounting environment preferred.
