JTRS - Program Control Analyst 3

Tactical Systems Division, Comm Systems.

This position requires extensive professional and practical experiences in schedule development, maintenance, and analysis.  Selected candidate will support the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Cluster 1 Program.  Duties will include IMP/IMS development and maintenance as well as intermediate and detail level schedules.  Perform weekly and monthly earned value statusing.  Ensures implementation of EVMS processes and requirements for data review, project reporting, and related controls are met.  Develops and maintains project and business reporting systems to conform to customer and internal requirements.  Candidate would partner with project management and be a proactive, integral member of the team.  Final grade will be based on education and experience. 


Provides project control, scheduling and business management support to projects operating under government and commercial contracts. Ensures requirements for data review, project reporting, scheduling, and related controls are met. Develops plans, forecasts, and budgets for business and project resource management. Provides or supports data exchange with customer or auditing agencies.



The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:


 


 Five years or more of increasing scheduling responsibility on Government EVMS contracts 

  Demonstrated scheduling skills including network development, forward and backward pass analysis, total float analysis, critical path analysis and vertical/horizontal integration


Develops logic, durations and constraints with project team for each task assignment


   Monitors and reports critical path and schedule performance.


  Updates actual progress and forecast remaining work schedule.


Excellent communication and presentation skills


Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications.


 Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Welcome Open Plan
