Jr Benefit Analyst

This exciting opportunity will expose you to a variety of retirement plans while preparing your for an outstanding career path. You will administer a caseload of 401(k), 403(b), 401(a) and 457 plans and respond to our clients' needs and requests while working with an experienced Defined Contribution Team.

Client Service is key and you must be detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to be flexible, open to change, manage your work schedule and learn multiple systems. Degree, or related experience in math, finance or accounting preferred along with knowledge of MS Office.

Day to day activities: Administer approximatey 4-8 retirement plans depending on complexity and volume. Daily reconciliation of plan assets between participant accounting system and trustee. Process participant loans, distributions, transfers and payrolls. Ensure all daily trades post correctly to participant accounts. Interact with plan administrators, trustee, Lincoln colleagues, and team members as necessary. Become an expert on specifics of each retirement plan and customer service. Work independently and with teammates to resolve both client and participant level issues. Ensure timeliness of participant voice and web requests at market close.

Special project and tasks: Determine gain/loss calculations on trade discrpancies. Work directly with auditors to provide information and answer questions. Prepare and review quarterly summary reports of each client. Revise procedures as government regulations change. Research problem causes and implement solutions. Be available to help teammates when the need arises.
