Junior Staff Accountant

Cambridge Systematics Inc (CS), a nationally acknowledged leader in transportation consulting, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Staff Accountant for a hands-on position in a our Accounting Department. This position is a critical part of our accounting team.

Responsibilities include general support for all areas within the Accounting Department including preparation of month end journal entries, account reconciliations, expense report processing, maintenance of fixed assets subsidiary ledger, data entry and filing as well as general accounts payable and accounts receivable support.

 

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will possess a B.A. in Accounting; excellent communication skills; strong customer service focus; proficiency with spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Excel; ability to work independently as well as within a team.
