Our client, a world-renowned service company, is seeking our assistance in identifying an individual to lead aspects of their organization?s technical accounting function.  The incoming individual will both perform and manage the interpretation of new accounting standards and determine the proper accounting treatment for complex transactions.

   

Selected responsibilities include: 

  Provide guidance with respect to worldwide accounting policies.Develop potential solutions to current accounting challenges.Prepare analyses on the differences between US and IAS reporting standards.Issue accounting practices and guidance as deemed necessary.Monitor external standard setters and report accounting issues that impact worldwide accounting policies.

 

Prospective candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

At least four years of technical accounting experience gained within public accounting and/or Fortune 500 organizations.Strong technical skills, communication, research and writing skills. CPA certification.
