Lead Financial Accountant - Mergers & Acquisitions

We are recruiting for a solid and diverse global company. Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking to fill a key position where you will be the lead accounting/finance person relating to mergers and acquisitions. You will have the opportunity to interact with many departments within the company and you will also have exposure to management. NOTE: There is no travel.

Responsibilities include:

1) Coordinate and perform due diligence relating to potential M&A activity


2) Analyze financial and operational information of potential M&A companies; prepare proforma financial statements

3) Assist and coordinate with post acquisition integration of accounting and financial systems 

4) Perform special accounting/finance projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

2) 4-7 years of experience in public accounting, private industry, or a combination of both, including solid GAAP knowledge.  Due diligence/M&A related experience a plus

3) Strong communication and presentation skills

4) Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
