Lean Six Sigma Support

BearingPoint is looking for a Consultant/ Sr. Consultant with experience in the areas of Lean, Six Sigma, Process design, development and implementation and tracking. The candidate must be a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and also have strong communication, presentation, writing, research and technical skills to provide support in the area of Business Process Improvement to support a large government client.

Responsibilities:
-Lead Lean/Six Sigma projects and coach Green Belts in project facilitation
-Manage resources required to successfully execute projects
-Identify and propose potential improvement projects
-Detail and run six sigma DMAIC initiatives as a Black Belt
-Understand and advocate the use of metrics
-Provide administrative support to designated team lead for internal business operations
-Manage/mentor junior team members in the development of processes and related documentation
-Participate in and assist in the preparation of materials for hi-level client meetings and inter-team meetings
-Actively participate in the development and implementation of key processes within the client’s business environment through the integration of Lean Six Sigma and SA-CMM methodologies
-Maintain internal team records in a project library
-Assist client in the implementation of the developed business processes
-Plan and execute process development working groups for client representatives
-Facilitate Lean/Six Sigma White Belt/Awareness and Green Belt Training, as required

Required Qualifications:
-Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with process development and implementation experience
-Lean/Six Sigma implementation experience
-BA or BS
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
-Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Visio and Project.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
-Proficiency in process design and development concepts
-Willingness to travel

The ideal candidate will:
-Have Six Sigma Master Black Belt
-Have an ASQ Certified Black Belt
-Have experience in the use of Minitab and/or iGraphx
-Have program management, acquisition, military, and/or technical support experience.
-Possess a Project Management Certification
-Have experience working with portals and websites
