Legal Billing Coordinator -Metro Center 50K - 70K (LAD)
Our client, a large national firm with a growing presence in Washington, DC is in search of a Billing Coordinator for its Metro Center office. This person will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to expediting the billing and maintenance of the firm’s unbilled inventory. Works with secretaries, lawyers, inventory coordinators, management and clients to ensure that the firm’s inventory is billed (and ultimately collected) on a timely basis, consistent with its stated goals. Meets and communicates with billing lawyers on a regular basis to discuss unbilled inventory and any changes to same, including transfers, write offs, bills, etc.
Qualifications :
Candidate should possess at least 5 years of billing in a law firm or other professional services setting. A minimum of an Associates degree in a finance related field. Experience with Elite or CMS software is a must. Experience with running and filtering database oriented reports in Crystal, IQ Objects or Business Objects is preferred.
