Job Title: Loan Accounting Manager Primary Characteristics: Accounting team member responsible for analysis and reporting of loan production activities. Essential Functions: • Supervise and train loan accounting staff • Develop policy and procedures for loan accounting processes • Actively participate and facilitate Power Seller to GL reconciliation process. • Prepare Monthly Interest Income Accruals • Analyze, research and review of monthly interest yields • Reconcile complex general ledger accounts • Monitor and participate in FAS 91 discussions for HFS portfolio • Review and Analyze complex general ledger accounts • Assist in year-end external audit • Analyze and review interest accruals for Loans Serviced by Others “LSBO” • Monitor accounting literature for new GAAP related to production activities • Review GL recons from production departments • Provide recurring and ad hoc financial reporting
