Loss Prevention Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:


Prepare reports and analyzes data determining specific issues which affect shrink

Monitor all departmental expenses, including payroll, on a regular basis and prepares actual to budget variance reports for management review. Insures all departmental expenses are paid. Insures all departmental expenses are paid.

Meet regularly with Finance and Loss Prevention management to discuss expense performance. Analyze spending to identify areas of opportunity for controlling expenses.

Prepare annual budget including the coordination of deadlines with the Planning and Analysis Department.

Develop strategies for analyzing shrink exposures. Complete annual shrink analysis review.

Performs complex financial analyses to identify profit opportunities

Develops ROI Analysis in support of capital investment decisions




Knowledge of retail accounting, principles and financial analysis

Strong communication and organizational skills

Familiarity with Loss Prevention procedures and retail stores

2 to 3 years experience in a financial analysis role, with some understanding of a large field organization

Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
