Maintenance Manager

This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group’s success by providing maintenance leadership for a plant operation.

 

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

o Assures equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity
o Implements process enhancements to improve process enhancements to improve package and flavor changeover efficiency
o Utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance
o Builds the capability of plant supervisors and technicians
o Tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunities
o Maintains P&L responsibility over maintenance cost centers, repair and maintenance, maintenance labor, utilities and capital improvement plans



Basic Job Qualifications

o A minimum of 5 years of operations maintenance  (high speed manufacturing environment preferred)
o A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
o Mechanical experience maintaining production equipment

 Preferred Job Qualifications

o Hydraulic maintenance experience
o Pneumatic maintenance experience
o Drive systems/transmissions experience
o Industrial Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Electrical Devices and Circuits experience
o Basic Drive Maintenance, Installations, troubleshooting experience
o Basic Controller/Processor Maintenance and troubleshooting experience
