JOB DESCRIPTION:     Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of facility, utility, and manufacturing equipment. Some activities involve working in a Clean Room environment. Perform building, utility and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on a variety of facility and utility equipment that includes but is not limited, DI/RO water systems, low pressure boilers, cooling towers, humidifiers, emergency generator/UPS systems, movement and arrangement of furniture and office equipment as well as, plumbing, electrical and minor construction work. Must have basic knowledge of clean room and HVAC operation. Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings. Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on a variety of manufacturing equipment including but not limited to automated cutting machines, bar sealers, band sealers, pumps, mixers, low voltage wiring, pneumatics, control systems and variable frequency drives. Ability to read and interpret control wiring schemes, drawings and blueprints.This is a day shift position with some swing and weekend work, requiring on-call duties for any emergencies during off hours and weekends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in electrical, plumbing and or HVAC. Minimum of five years experience performing facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs in the medical, electronics or food processing industries. Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred. Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and building codes. Very good oral and written communications skills.
