PnL Management is a management consulting firm located in Silicon Valley, California.  We pride ourselves on utilizing twenty first century technology and old fashion business experience and good judgment to assist our clients.  We are active in a variety of industries including: high tech, life sciences, medical devices, software, wireless communications, financial services and banking.  As a consulting firm we have been deeply involved in advising our clients in their pursuit of more efficient operations and installing industry ?best practices?.  We at PnL Management see bringing efficiencies to our clients through review and troubleshooting of accounting close/consolidations, procedures; SOX 404 documentation and testing engagements; stock option review and analysis, and outsourcing of the Internal Audit function.

 

We are currently looking for qualified accounting and finance professionals who are or would like to pursue a well compensated career in consulting in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley Areas.  We have positions at a variety of levels.  The right candidate will have:

?  At least three years of public company experience, but our preference is for the more senior people;

?  Either a CPA and/or MBA are preferable but any public accounting or internal audit experience is a plus;

?  Expertise in: Revenue Recognition ( especially software); Equity/Stock Options  Accounting (including FAS123R and hands-on EquityEdge); running the accounting close process (at least at the Manager level); International/foreign exchange/intercompany expertise; SEC Reporting and managing the external auditors; Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Compliance documentation and testing; IPO, Mergers & Acquisitions;

?  Hands-on experience with ERP or MRP systems such as Great Plains, Platinum, Soloman,Oracle or SAP

Personal Qualifications:

?  A desire to keep your knowledge of the profession current e.g. understanding of current GAAP and regulatory pronouncements (FASB, PCAOB, SOP, etc.);

?  An excellent team player with high integrity and ethical standards;

?  Strong communication skills both verbal and written;

?  Business Partnering skills;

?  Ability to work under pressure balancing multiple priorities;
