Manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for development and maintenance of client relationshipsPreparation of client service plans including annual budget and billingPrimary liaison with client and external auditors Review and interpretation of Partnership, Management and other agreementsReview Chart of Accounts, prepare/review management fee calculations, develop waterfall modelsFinancial statement and work paper review including disclosure and supporting documentsCommunicate material client transactions to management and other internal groups (i.e.: tax department)Responsible in new client setup and transitionsParticipate in new client system implementations and become proficient in use of TNRSupervise and develop staff

 

Skills & Educational Requirements:Minimum of 10 years experience including at least 4 years private equity experienceUndergraduate degree in accounting and/or MBA.  CPA highly preferredStrong technical accounting (GAAP) and in depth knowledge in investment accountingPartnership tax experience including areas of compliance and researchStrong analytical, project management skills and ability to improve processesStrong ability to communicate with all levels of management (written & verbal) as well as with staff with a strong aptitude towards client service; adapt quickly to a changing environmentStrong organizational/multi-tasking skills with the ability to plan/prioritize to ensure efficient and timely deliverables to clients; adapt quickly to a changing environmentIndividual should be self-motivated and exhibit strong leadership skillsStrong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc) and related software experience ( TNR, INVESTRAN)Management experience with proven ability to develop staff.  Participate in team building and training
