As Manager, Accounting Policy & Research, you'll be responsible for overseeing our daily accounting process. As such, you'll ensure effective, implicit communication and compliance of financial policy is followed and maintained across a broad, multi-disciplined audience. You'll create and launch short- and long-term tactical plans, outlining financial outcomes based on proposed initiatives. You'll recommend and implement improved policies and procedures and serve as a financial consultant within the organization while supporting our Internal Controls team. Additionally, you'll work with cross-functional teams to maintain reporting guidelines, policies, and compliances; and assist in open audit, certification, and review issues with respect to financial policy.

We require a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or a business related field), CPA licensure, 5-8 years' progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including project management and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and financial statement preparation.

Candidates must have an exceptional understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting principles/reporting practices plus superior technical aptitude of accounting policies and procedures. A strong leadership style complimented by negotiation savvy and an ability to communicate to a broad base of product experts will contribute to the success in this position.
