Manager - Accounting & Finance

Prolitec is a world leader in the development and deployment of innovative technologies and solutions for indoor air quality and the disinfection of interior spaces.  Current applications include wide-area odor remediation, ambient scenting and restroom hygiene.  Prolitec?s advanced  air treatment systems combine state-of-the-art chemistry with proprietary computer-controlled delivery systems to provide clients unprecedented flexibility in enhancing indoor air quality and disinfecting interior air and surfaces. 

 

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the company?s financial plans and policies, accounting practices, maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. The position will include several responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following:

 Oversee the company?s general accounting process to accomplish the objectives of the department.Ensure the general ledger is maintained and adjusted in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Ensure all accounts are properly reconciled to assure the financial statements are representative of the business.Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures.Develop and implement projects and programs to assist the accomplishment of established company goals.Supply internal reporting package to senior management including financial statements (external and internal), operational analysis, and recommendations for effectiveness / efficiency improvements.Lead the company?s annual budgeting and planning process.Work with external technology partner to ensure the company?s technology needs are met and/or exceeded.Develop a professional, pro-active, and enthusiastic accounting team.

 

Experience/Skills Required:

It is expected that the ideal candidate for this position will offer the following attributes:

 

? BS in Accounting required, CPA certification preferred; Minimum of 3 ? 8 years Accounting experience;

? Strong knowledge of GAAP;Experience with financial consolidations a plus;

? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and develop an action plan;

? Strong aptitude for financial systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;

? Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills;Team oriented;

? Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills;Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
