Manager, Accounting and Controls

In this role you will coordinate accounting/reporting and tax issues between Regional hubs and Hospira Corporate. You will also work with SAP business lead to resolve SAP related issues impacting the Regional hubs and develop in-depth knowledge of SAP processes impacting International Commercial via the Hospira global SAP instance.

Additionally, you will be the point of contact for HFM management reporting system for the International Commercial organization (not yet implemented) and the Sarbanes Oxley work in the Regional hubs, including coordination with the Corporate Sarbanes Oxley Project Management Organization (PMO).

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Business/Finance, and CPA
Total of 10 + years of related experience including: public accounting and/or internal audit experience (4 years or more), exposure to international accounting/reporting, experience dealing with Tax-related issues involving legal entity relationships is a plus
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently with financial people located around the world
Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word required
Experience with SAP strongly desired
