ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

 

ColonialWebb Contractors, Virginia?s largest mechanical contractor, is seeking a customer service oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our accounting staff in its corporate headquarters location.  Successful candidate must possess and responsibilities include:

 

? 5+ years accounts payable and previous management experience required

 

? Construction industry experience preferred

 

? Excellent computer skills, work ethic, and ability to multi-task ensure and that special projects are completed

 

? Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external contacts

 

? Responsibilities include timely processing and payment of payables, overseeing payment process, and interaction with other departments and multi state divisions

 

? Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.

 

? Counsel behavior and performance issues that impede achieving department goals

 

? Training, evaluations, providing work direction and ensure cross training among the five team members

 

? Development of team members via updates, counseling sessions, reviews, coaching, and conflict resolution to support The ColonialWebb Contractors Values.

 

? Monitor attendance, punctuality, workload, production and problem solving skills of Accounts Payable team members. Recognize and reward employees for outstanding performance.
