Position description

Develop Company accounting policies and maintain for changes in the Company?s business as well as changes in authoritative literature, advise worldwide business units and corporate functions of accounting issues related to various transactions, draft Company comments on exposure drafts issued by the various authoritative rule-making bodies, including the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and provide educational updates to the global organization through a variety of mediums including global training sessions and newsletters.

This position will report to the Director of Accounting Research and Policy with consistent interaction with the Corporate Controller, Corporate Assistant Controller, business unit controllers, and the Manager of External Reporting.



Required skills

CPA or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience in an accounting-related position.

Expertise in U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.

Strong research and communication skills.

Experience in instructing training courses.

Technical writing experience is a plus.
