Manager, Budget Reporting

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a private, non-profit corporation, is seeking a Manager, Budget Reporting.  Candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on all of CPB?s budgets, including administrative, system support, departmental and summary budgets.  The work will include providing financial and variance analysis and research as needed throughout the organization.  The manager also understands and enforces the rules of specific funds and appropriations and ensures the availability of funds for contracts and projects.

 

Requires Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance or related field; minimum three years accounting or budgeting experience in a complex corporate environment with demonstrated solid corporate financial and analytical skills; demonstrated strong information management skills and advanced accounting knowledge; demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written); and advanced user of MS Excel, MS Access, and a major accounting system.  Masters Degree in Accounting or CPA; experience in MS Great Plains; and/or knowledge of government budgeting and appropriations process desired.
