Maersk Line, Limited, an industry leader providing maritime services and logistics solutions to the U.S. Government, is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage the entire budgeting process at our headquarters in Norfolk, VA.
Working closely with business unit managers, you will collect, compile & analyze budget and forecast data, including current and 5-year plan budgets, as well as ongoing re-forecasts. You will also be expected to develop and make presentations to senior-level executives.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance, a minimum of 5 years? experience, and a thorough knowledge of U.S. Government contracts. Superior Excel proficiency, including use of analytical tools (pivot tables), is essential. The ability to prepare balance sheet, cash flow and P/L statements is required. Candidates must be able to work independently and possess strong analytical, communication, presentation and team-building skills. Proficiency in PeopleSoft (or similar ERP system) and CPA or MBA are preferred.
