Manager, Finance

We are seeking a Finance Manager with strong analytical skills in the areas of business operations and finance.

The position requires the analytical skills to assess potential opportunities to enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of the company. This position will focus on evaluation and tracking of operational efficiency initiatives. This position will also support improvements to financial/operational reporting to the senior leadership team. Additionally, this position will work on special projects to analyze and help improve company profitability. The candidate must have strong communication, writing, problem solving and financial modeling skills.

This position will help to drive the success of the business by being a key member of our finance team in providing information and analysis to assist in decision-making that leads to operational transformation of the company. The successful candidate will have a natural orientation to measurable and tangible business results and the ability engage managers across the company in discussions around driving process-based improvements to the business. The candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage both ad hoc projects and scheduled deliverables. Candidate must have ability to interact with staff and management at various levels of the organization across the company's business units.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop business cases for strategic profitability improvement initiatives
Conduct due diligence of opportunities to enhance the performance management of Bad Debt and Collections
Produce reports and contribute to design enhancements of enterprise performance reporting for Sr Leadership
Support special projects and studies to drive long term profitability and efficiency of the company
Support strategic projects and initiatives through program administration, tracking and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

3-5 years of work experience in finance/accounting performing planning, forecasting and analysis, reporting.
Knowledge of both financial and business operations side of the business.
Experience with business process and performance measures of a wireless telecom service provider or similar company.
Experience with establishing and utilizing benchmarks and performance standards
Experience with the analysis and design of business processes
Experience with design and implementation of management reports, dashboard reports, and reporting processes
Wireless telecommunications industry experience preferred.
Experience with strategic planning or support in development of business or functional strategic plans

Proficiencies:

Must have the ability to write clear, accurate and logical reports.
Strong personal communications and ability to interact with all levels of management
Power User / Expert Skills with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
Strong Skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using SAP (or similar ERP) for cost analysis a plus
Advanced Skills: Financial Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Exploratory Data Modeling/Analysis
Self-motivated and energetic team player experienced with working in a dynamic team environment.
