Manager, Finance - Business Assurance

We are currently seeking a Manager in our Business Assurance group (BA).  It is a developmental role for a high-potential finance professional who can work independently and is willing to travel up to 25%.  The individual selected will gain quick exposure to the executive leadership team, and an in-depth knowledge of the TLR businesses.

 

 

BA supports high profile business decisions, provides guidance to TLR entities and ensures compliance with corporate policies.  Primary responsibilities for the group are as follows:

? Assist TLR entities with the implementation of newly issued accounting guidance.

 

? Provide financial support for acquisitions which may include participating in due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.

 

? Assist TLR entities with the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.  Involvement is limited to coordination of:  business unit preparation of documentation; internal and external auditor testing; and ongoing monitoring of the process.

 

? Perform on-site reviews of business practices.

 

 

The manager?s role is primarily that of a business consultant and team leader that will work with individuals across the worldwide organization, with particular focus on the following activities:

 

? Manage site visit teams.

? Provide accounting support as needed.

? Supervise BA seniors.

? Limited assistance for TLR entities? preparation for SOX testing.

 

Qualifications:

 BA/BS in Accounting CPA certification Strong working knowledge of GAAP Ability to work in a team environment Strong leadership skills Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills Excellent analytical and investigative skills Seven plus years of accounting, finance or related experience Big four public accounting experience preferred
