Closes 7/25/06. This position is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of financial statements for internal and external use in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations. This position assists with researching and communicating generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations. This position is responsible for technical accounting in the preparation of financial and statistical reports to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Washington Commission. This position also will work with external auditors to ensure financial statement presentation compliance.

 

Requirements: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business, must be a CPA, 8+ years of accounting experience and substantial experience in financial reporting/SEC regulations. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Must be a proven leader and self-starter.

 

Desired: Financial and management experience working in a public accounting firm. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products.
