Job Title: Manager, Government Pricing

Reports To: Director of Commercial Operations

Direct Reports: Rebate Coordinator

Objective: This position will be responsible for Medicaid/Medicare rebate calculations along with review and payments of Managed Care Contracts.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Ensuring all government Medicaid and Medicare rebate calculation methodologies are in compliance with existing legislation and are in compliance with MedPointe's internal policies and procedures.
Developing, maintaining and monitoring MedPointe's internal policies and procedures related to Medicaid, Medicare and VA contracting.
Reporting of MedPointe?s pricing to federal and state agencies.
Managing adjustments and/or dispute resolution with state Medicaid agencies.
Overseeing the accuracy of check/payment disbursements.
Calculating quarterly AMPs (Average Manufacturer Prices), RPUs (Rebate per Units) and determine BPs (Best Prices) in accordance with regulations as established by CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
Maintaining record keeping of rebate payments as required by state and federal agencies.
Tracking State Medicaid and SPAP rebate payments by product and preparing monthly and quarterly rebate accrual analysis.
Reviewing all Managed Care Rebate financial payment calculations for completeness and accuracy.
Assist in the development of analytical metrics for Managed Care, Medicaid & Medicare programs.
Complete State Medicaid Supplemental Rebate pricing calculations and documents as requested by the Managed Care Department.
Responsible for all aspects of the VA contract including client interface, contract negotiations, compliance and reporting. Will provide to the Sales and Managed Care Departments sales performance reports. Will work together to develop strategies to capitalize on government sales opportunities.
Attend government contract compliance meetings and provide direction to organization to insure compliance.
Financial analysis as required.
Will be expected to lead a project team on the evaluation and implementation of Managed Care and Government rebate software.

Minimum Requirements (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required):
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Prior Medicaid experience required.
Ability to work with minimal direction.
Proficiency in SAP a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
