This position will have exposure to the Company?s executive financial management team and majority shareholder?s finance team. This positions main focus will be on filing the Form 20F the equivalent to the 10K in US. SEC experience and international experience are two main components. Position will support Director of Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting and is located in Lake Forest.

 

ResponsibilitiesCash flow developmentMonthly US GAAP financial statement Prepare quarterly press release financial statements and disclosure requirementsCoordinate annual filing of Form 20FStandard monthly reporting package and reporting required for High Yield Bond and other debt covenants.Manage accounting under US GAAP and IAS for hedging transactionsResearch and implement new accounting standards and reporting requirements (FASB, IAS and SEC)Lead AC&R team in coordination effort to maintain /evolve standard monthly reporting packageInterface with external auditors in connection with issue identification and resolution. Assist with other external audit coordination effortsExpand the use of technology, including Hyperion Reporting Tools to improve efficienciesCoordinate, review and report on various account analysis; litigation reserves, environmental reserves, product liability reserves, medical self-insurance reserve, Pension, OPEB, Bonus, Intangible asset and amortization, goodwill and amortization, depreciation expense and legal entity review account itemization summariesWork with tax personnel to prepare/update analysis supporting reliability of deferred tax assetsBenefit Plan related responsibilities include preparation of annual financial statements; coordination of N.A. plan audits; actuarial valuation and AOP (budgeting) benefit plan cost assumptions

 

RequirementsB.S. in Accounting/FinanceExcellent PC skills, experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePrior experience with general ledger (SmartStream and/or SAP) and consolidation packages (Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion HFM) a plus8 years minimum experience within Finance/Accounting (Some Big 4 Experience Preferred)Knowledge of SEC Reporting Regulations/US GAAPStrong / Advanced knowledge of accounting systems/Databases (Hyperion, ESS Base, Oracle)Strong/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsStrong Interpersonal and communication skills/ Strong analytical (problem solving) skills
