Manager, PSD Accounting and Finance

Basic Function:

This position is responsible for a broad range of accounting and analytical duties including the preparation of plan, forecast, and budget schedules and presentations.



Specific responsibilities:Responsible for monthly PSD close Review of all journal entries Review of balance sheet reconciliations Evaluate monthly financial results against forecast/budget/prior year Review subsidiary monthly financial packages for accuracy and consistent accounting treatmentReview monthly financial statements prior to publication Review quarterly engineered system report Preparation of monthly/quarterly forecasts Preparation of schedules included in monthly executive staff meeting presentation Preparation of divisional budget and bonus/balanced scorecard calculations at year end and assisting the Division Controller with special projects as requested Ensure accurate and timely submission of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial management reports  Provide meaningful financial information and analytical support for management decision-making  Lead projects that will contribute to productivity/process improvements.Participate in the division Sarbanes Oxley compliance effort and interact with subsidiary general managers and controllers, as well as internal/external auditors as necessary

 

Qualifications:

Education:

?  Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a CPA are required

 

Experience:

?  Minimum of 5 years experience in general accounting, financial analysis/planning is required, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment or public accounting, auditing multi-national manufacturing companies

?  Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is required

?  Exposure to financial consolidation and analysis of actuals, forecasts, and budgets of a multi-entity, multi-national manufacturing division is preferred

?  Sarbanes Oxley experience is preferred

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

?  Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and knowledge of general ledger and ERP systems is required

?  SAP knowledge is preferred

?  Ability to effectively plan work in an independent manner

?  Excellent analytical skills.

?  Excellent organizational skills

?  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

?  Ability to adjust to a flexible environment and consistently meet deadlines

?  International exposure and foreign language fluency is preferredAbility to travel internationally 10% of the time
