The Manager of Regulatory Accounting, located in Northbrook, will manage the Accounting department and analyze utility information from accounting documents and will report directly to the Chief Regulatory Manager.



ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation of rate filings, pre-filed testimony, and interrogatories Manage Commission and Staff auditsRespond to discovery requests from various regulatory agenciesProvide written and oral testimony in front of various state CommissionsRead and analyze utility information from internal and external accounting documentsGeneral ledger and trial balanceMake recommendations regarding requests for revenuesOther miscellaneous matters having to do with regulatory issues

 

RequirementsProficient skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are required.8+ years accounting experienceMust have CPA Ideal candidate will have background in Litigation Consulting or Forensic Accounting, straight public accounting background is also acceptable
