Manager Tax Accountant - FAS 109

Our client, located in Wayne County, is looking for a talented FAS 109 expert with the potential to become the Director. This position will be responsible for coordination of FAS 109 accounting procedures for the US and all international subsidiaries, and US tax return compliance. This individual will be responsible for all federal and state tax return preparation, tax provision calculation, FAS 109 compliance, computation of effective tax rates and will interface with tax auditors. Additional tasks will include assistance in overseeing timely and accurate tax compliance and tax accounting for the US and all international subsidiaries. To qualify for this position, candidates will need to possess the following: -Extensive experience in worldwide income tax provision (FAS 109). -Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and International tax disclosure issues. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline required, Master’s degree in Taxation and CPA certification preferred. -3 + years of tax and accounting related experience with strong corporate tax return compliance experience. -Excellent tax research, communication and organizational skills. -Solid problem solving skills, diligence, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are required If your experience matches the previously described qualifications, please e-mail your resume in MS Word format to
